Have you got the time to help?
Please help break poverty cycle.
Sri Lanka has approximately 10,000 schools. The schools are in need of help from the international community. There is only a handful of qualified English teachers available in the country. The battle the country is facing in the provision of basic education is enormous. Please help by either joining our team as a volunteer or telling others about our project. You can adopt a childs education, or link schools with schools in Sri Lanka. You can also suggest other ways in which you can help Sri Lanka.

Below are pictures of schools and teacher training colleges we are working with.

Here is a picture of a handful of children who attend the school. They are the future of Sri Lanka. If we can help the children achieve their full potential via education then we will be helping brake the poverty cycle. David (our Australian volunteer) is working with the community now. By placing volunteers , who are proficient in English, one of the aims of BPC is to give the opportunity for the children and adults to communicate (orally) in English.

They too need the support from the international community as they merely have the basis resources (phone, fax, overheal projectors, filing cupbords, multimedia projectors, white board to name a few) needed to carryout their responsibilities. So please help!

Most children in rural villages come from poor families. Adopting the education of a child is one way that the international community can help the children gain quality education. Please adopt a childs education!
